On average, in the 18-month behavioral weight loss program, clients lose 7-11% of their initial body weight over a 6 month timeframe. (ex. If an individual weighs 250lbs, they can expect to lose around 25 pounds in six months). Losing weight at 0.5 to 2.0lbs per week is a safe amount of weight to lose. Our rapid weight loss program was developed to give individuals "in for the long haul" a JUMP START towards their weight loss goals. Individuals lose weight quickly on a low calorie diet and then transition to the behavior and nutrition education program to learn how to continue to lose and manager thier weight moving forward.
