Dr. Kodali is a graduate of the University of Chicago Hospital/ Weiss Memorial where she completed her internal medicine residency in 2002. She completed her gastroenterology fellowship at Wayne State University School of Medicine in Michigan in 2005. She has been in private practice since 2005. She regularly participates in multi-disciplinary management of patients with gastrointestinal malignancies including colorectal cancer. During her training in gastroenterology, Dr. Kodali received additional training in the field of Endoscopic Ultrasonography. Endoscopic Ultrasound (EUS) is a specialized endoscopic procedure used in patients for more comprehensive diagnoses of gastrointestinal, thoracic cancers and other benign gastrointestinal tumors. Patients often benefit from an early diagnosis and effective treatment plan by this technique.
Dr. Kodali also practices general gastroenterology and has interests in women's health and gastrointestinal disorders. She regularly participates in multi-disciplinary management of patients with gastrointestinal malignancies including colorectal cancer. She reviews with pathologists and radiologists and develops a treatment strategy for patients.
Dr. Kodali already gave grand rounds at the local hospitals and presented several talks, particularly on the role of EUS in GI diseases, to surgeons, oncologists, internists and family practitioners. She is available for consultation at all of our office locations. Dr. Kodali is married and has two boys. She likes traveling, spending time with family and friends, and enjoys ethnic cooking.
